DLG head office

Year of construction: 2018-2020
Architect: PLH Arkitekter
Location: Fredericia

The new, iconic DLG headquarters in Fredericia - closer to customers and owners in the agricultural sector - will bring together a number of functions under one roof. The building will have an easily recognizable signature that will be visible when crossing the Little Belt Bridge.

Alux has delivered more than 2000 square meters of exterior facade blinds of type Z90, which is wind stable in wind class 5 up to 21 m/sec.

The exterior sun protection is automatically controlled by our Sun 4000 touch panel controller which, in addition to sun and wind automation, also includes seasonal control according to the height of the sun in the sky.

With the sun height function, the angle of the blinds can be adjusted according to the season for optimal sun protection.

The large gable sections are fitted with specially developed Slat screens, in which the blind guides are discreetly integrated.

Alux has also supplied mechanical fire dampers of the type Fire 4000 EW60 E120.

What PLH says about the construction

We have designed a head office that supports DLG's identity as a credible, ambitious and welcoming agricultural company in balance with nature. It's a really exciting customer with a long history behind it, and we think the project supports and reinforces DLG's values and best qualities. We are very much looking forward to getting started with the project.
