Pest protection
for roller shutters & roller grilles
In collaboration with Rentokil, we have developed a roller blind that prevents rodents and pests. The blind consists of a sectional bottom rail and a bottom of blind profiles (without perforation) to prevent rodents from gaining a foothold and climbing up. The solution can also be implemented on other roller sh utters or roller grilles.

Sectional bottom rail
The problem in the past has been that rodents and pests have been able to easily enter retail spaces, despite the use of roller grilles. They have either been able to sneak under the grille or climb over it via the perforations in the grille profiles.
Together with Rentokill, we have developed a sectional stainless steel rail that is built into the bottom rail of the blind. This allows the blind to adapt tightly to any surface and prevents pests from crawling under the blind.
Get airflow with perforated harlequin profiles
Our pest protection is always delivered with the lower part of the blind fitted with min. 6 smooth louver profiles (without perforation) to prevent rodents from gaining a foothold and climbing up the grille or louver.
As a standard, our pest protection is delivered as a complete Roller Shutter of closed aluminum profiles, providing total blackout in the room. However, if light and air penetration to the area is required, our pest protection can be supplied with perforated harlequin profiles in the center of the blind.
Our pest solution can also be implemented on other blinds where the sectional bottom rail and min. 6 closed aluminum profiles.

Extruded aluminum profiles with vertical full slats Stamped aluminum profiles with holes 13.1 x 8.7 mm in Harlequin. Always a minimum of 6 full slats in the bottom of the blind and a minimum of 7 full slats in the top. The middle of the blind can be made with full slats as top and bottom (figure 1) or with punched aluminum profiles in Harlequin pattern to allow light and air penetration (figure 2).

Aluminum flex floor track with built-in stainless steel sectional track of 200 mm per slat. The slats can flex vertically from 0 to 30 mm to fit snugly against any surface.

Extruded aluminum profiles with noise dampening inserts and Teflon wear pieces at the top.

Natural anodized surface is standard on all aluminum profiles.
