Slat screens
Louvre shading consists of fixed or movable slats and is an effective solar shading solution for larger glass sections and facades. At Alux, we have a wide range of slats in different sizes and shapes. We offer c-screens, Slat screens, wing-shaped slats and rectangular slats.
Most often, all Slat screens are customized and designed in close collaboration with the client and architect.
Surface treatment can be done in all RAL colours and anodizing.

As standard, the slat profile is delivered in 100 mm. The distance between the individual slat profiles is 100 mm, but can be varied.

The slat profile is a rectangular profile in extruded aluminum. The distance between the individual slat profiles can vary between 100-275 mm.

The slat profile is a rectangular profile in extruded aluminum. The profile is 190 mm in depth and 30 mm on the inside and 20 mm on the outside.

The slat profile is a wing-shaped profile in extruded aluminum. The distance between the individual slat profiles can vary between 180-390 mm.

Unique and individual solutions with Slat screens
Alux louvers can be installed as fixed louvers at any angle optimized for the building, sun angle and design. The slats are built on load-bearing rafters and can be installed both horizontally and vertically. Movable Alux slats are operated by a motor that can be connected to sun and wind automation, so the slats can be positioned at the optimal angle in relation to the angle of the sun.

Wing-shaped blades for Danfoss in Silkeborg, Denmark
This beautiful louvered screen is made with 300 mm wing-shaped louvers that extend over 2 floors of the overall facade.
The delivery includes point foundations and is installed 500 mm from the facade to allow for escape routes and window plastering.
At the floor separation between the living room and the first floor, plaster bridges are an integral part of the louvered facade.

Optimally located at the highway exit at Landskrona S, DSV's huge transport and logistics terminal is a landmark and landmark for the area.
The domicile's 10,350 m2 is spread over 4 floors around a semi-circular atrium with contact to all departments in the building. Alux supplied Facadelamel Sun 4000 Type 300c for the building's large glass facades.
The building has been awarded the "Stadsbyggnadspriset 2012" by Stadsbyggnadsnämden in Karlskrona.
IBA Business Academy in Kolding with 10,000 meters of slats, painted in 3 earth tones
IBA Business Academy is a stunning and sustainable 7-story, 9,000 square meter campus. Alux supplied and installed the exterior solar sh ading on the facades in 3 different color shades. The solar shading consists of a total of 10,000 meters of slats, which corresponds to 30 tons of aluminum.
C-lamellas help create a good indoor climate in Danish schools
More than half a million Danish children and young people and around 50,000 employees spend a large part of their time at school. However, numerous studies show that the indoor climate in a large proportion of Danish schools is poor.
At Alux, we have delivered louvre screen solutions to Danish schools. Louvered screens are available both as fixed louvered screens and as adjustable, called c-louvres.

Alux facade blinds are usually motorized and controlled by a quiet 230V motor. Motorized solutions are often supplemented with solar and wind automation, which allows for integration with intelligent building controls such as CTS, ABA or similar systems.
