Sliding shutters
External sliding window shutters are an elegant solar shading solution for all types of buildings. The shutters consist of an aluminum frame and a filling, which can be screen fabric, expanded metal, slats, perforated sheets or silk-screened glass.
Design your sliding shutters
If you choose Type 40 with screen fabric, you get a view through the fabric and shield up to 80% of sunlight.
Expanded metal offers many options for solar shading with good airflow. The shading effect varies depending on the angle of the sun in the sky, but can shade up to 100%.
Slats in the shutters reflect or absorb the sun's rays so that the heat doesn't reach the glass and heat up the room. With slats in the shutters, you also have the option to control the amount of light by adjusting the distance between the slats.
Type 60 can be manufactured with other types of fillings, such as perforated sheets and silk-screened glass.
