Sliding shutters from Alux create stylish sun protection on Honnørkajen

Alux A/S has successfully delivered, designed and installed advanced sliding shutters and solar shading solutions for Honnørkajen, a modern construction project in Horsens. This solution has not only improved the functionality and energy efficiency of the building, but has also contributed to the visual expression and comfortable indoor climate.

The Honnørkajen project used 30 Alux sliding shutters with wooden slats in Thermowood, a high-quality material that combines durability and aesthetics. The untreated wooden slats, planed to a size of 30x40 mm, were mounted in robust aluminum profiles. This provides both a functional and visually appealing solution for solar shading and privacy protection.

The sliding shutters are secured with top and bottom profiles in anodized aluminum, ensuring high stability and long durability.
