Lamb shielding at Campus Horsens
Louvre screening ensures better indoor climate
and well-being at Campus Horsens
Campus Horsens
Year built: 2024
Location: Horsens
We have delivered a comprehensive solar shading solution at Campus Horsens, where we have installed and fitted 149 Facadelamel Sun 2000 Type C louvre screens. This model is designed to significantly optimize the indoor climate, and with its solar shading effect of up to 96.3%, it is highly effective in reducing both heat and glare. The louvre slows down the sun's rays before they reach the windows, which means that the heat that normally accumulates in the building is significantly reduced. As a result, both students and teachers can enjoy a more stable, comfortable and healthy learning environment.
Flexible Mounting and Light Balance
The solution is mounted directly on the facade of the building, giving Campus Horsens great flexibility in design and function. By balancing the incidence of light, the louvre ensures that plenty of natural light still enters the classrooms - but without the disadvantages that direct sunlight can often create in terms of glare and heating.
Improved Framework for Learning and Wellbeing
With this upgrade, Campus Horsens takes an important step towards improving the indoor climate, which both supports well-being and creates the best conditions for learning and concentration. The high solar shading effect also means that the building is better equipped for the warmer periods of the year, so that the comfort in the rooms can be kept at a stable level all year round. We are proud to have contributed to this effort and to the improved environment that will now be felt in everyday life on campus.
