Sun 4000 VSZ is an incredibly wind-resistant zip screen in a beautiful design with many individual design options. The zip screen system secures the fabric to the side rail using a zipper system, making it possible to shade large areas of up to 18 m2 while resisting strong winds. Sun 4000 is tested up to wind class 7 and approved for wind speeds up to 32.9 m/sec. depending on size.

In our standard portfolio, we offer 250 types of screen fabrics with different functional properties of transparency and various shading options, including 100% room darkening.
The side rail has a highly weather-resistant powder coating for long-lasting durability.
Thoughtful construction
To meet even the most demanding tasks, many options have been developed.
For example, for bottom rails, there are options for extra weight, with one or two weights and an extra stabilization with a rectangular tube in the bottom rail for full-width screens - this ensures that the tension on the screen is optimized.
In addition, new top box profiles have been designed in sizes 105 and 125 mm. So these can also be counter-mounted without having a visible mounting groove for wall and ceiling brackets.

Vejen Town Hall is the setting for important democratic dialog, political battles and a workplace for more than 200 people, and good and optimal solar shading is a necessity.
Complete solar shading solution optimizes learning at AAU Esbjerg
Alux has delivered a complete solar shading solution to Aalborg University in Esbjerg, which has helped students' learning through a significantly improved indoor climate.
Surrounded by beautiful nature and idyllic scenery, young enthusiasts go about their daily business at Aalborg University in Esbjerg. The breathtaking building is located a few kilometers from the vibrant cityscape of the West Jutland port city and provides the setting for an excellent study environment. However, there was a problem for the students: when the sun's rays hit the building, it became too hot, resulting in a poor indoor climate.
Wind-resistant screens for The Arc in Kolding
Alux has had the pleasure of supplying 177 VSZ screens, which can withstand wind speeds up to wind class 6 - 24.7 m/s.
The wind-resistant screens are automatically controlled via a centrally located weather station on the roof. The control is divided into 12 zones and can be set individually for each zone.
Sun 4000 Screens for private homes
Screen is an effective solar shading solution, also for private homes. Sun 4000 Screen reduces unintentional heating of rooms and reduces light penetration.
With a minimum width of 600 mm and a maximum width of 6 meters and a maximum height of 6 meters, this sunscreen can be used on virtually any type of window.

The cassette consists of a two-piece extruded aluminum profile where the front profile can be opened for servicing. Available in several sizes. See overview at the bottom of the page.

Extruded aluminum profiles. M l: 35 x 37.5 mm or 25 x 35 mm.
The side rails are two-piece for serviceability and have a UV-resistant plastic profile.

The bottom rail is made of heavyweight extruded aluminium to neutralize the friction between the zipper and the inner profile. Type 3 bottom rail is standard. If you want a small bottom rail and thus a lower weight, type 1 can be selected.

Built-in 230 V electronic low-noise motor with soft start and stop and detector stop that stops at obstacles. When choosing a standard motor, a 5 meter cable is always included.
