Alux launches Northern Europe's first EN1627 RC5 certified Roller Shutter and Security module

Alux, a leader in mechanical anti-theft solutions, is proud to announce the launch of Northern Europe's first Roller Shutter and Security module that have been certified to EN1627-30 RC5.

RC5 CERTIFIED SECURITY: A MILESTONE IN MECHANICAL SECURITY

Achieving security class RC5 in mechanical security is undoubtedly an extraordinary achievement. Until now, the requirements for RC5 certification have been extremely challenging and demanding for mechanical security product categories.

The requirements for EN1627-30 RC5 certification mean that the product must be able to withstand at least 15 minutes of attack by powerful electrical tools such as angle grinders and reciprocating saws. In addition, the product must be able to withstand pulling, pushing and jacking with a load of up to 1500 kg.

The resistance time of the test itself poses a significant challenge, but also the tensile, compression and bending tests are crucial for the width of the product. It is therefore impressive that Alux has developed and received approval for their Roller Shutter with RC5 certification in a width of up to 480 cm - a feat that no one else in Europe has achieved before.

The newly created RC4 and RC5 certified Security module also represents a groundbreaking solution in the field of security. This module, with a width of 100 cm, opens up many new possibilities for high security of walls and ceilings, as well as the construction of safety cells, building reinforcements and much more.
