Apple HomeKit
Somfy TaHoma® switch supports Apple HomeKit, which means you can voice control your compatible sunscreens using Siri. Say "Hey Siri, open the awning" to one of your compatible Apple devices and it will prompt you. Include your sunscreens in HomeKit automations for an even smarter home.

Hello Google
Somfy TaHoma® switch also supports Google Assistant. If you have a Google Home or Nest Mini, it is possible to control scenes and products in your TaHoma® switch. Google Voice Assistants enable control over your voice. You can easily start a scene in the Somfy TaHoma® switch, tell your Google Home or Nest Mini to start the "Good morning" scene or ask it to close your blinds.

Sonos
The Somfy TaHoma® switch is compatible with Sonos speakers. A good example of this means that when you draw the curtains at the touch of a button, the lighting dims, the music from your favorite playlist starts sounding directly in the speakers.

You create a scene in the TaHoma® switch that includes your Sonos speakers. When you wake up, the curtain opens and your favorite music starts playing. All automatically. The heat slowly rises and the lights turn on without you having to do anything. When you leave home, activate the "I'm leaving home" scene and the music stops playing and the alarm is activated.

IFTTT
Somfy TaHoma® supports the IFTTT (IF This Then That) service. IFTTT is a web service with an associated app that connects various connected products, web services and applications with each other. This enables users to automate different types of actions and get more out of their smart products. IFTTT already works with over 500 apps, services and products. Thanks to the support, your TaHoma® switch can use all the services and products available on IFTTT and get extended possibilities.

In IFTTT, users can create different scenes (so-called applets) that work with the TaHoma® switch. When the alarm sounds on your smartphone, the "Good morning" scene can start playing music as the blinds open. If you approach home in your car, the "Welcome Home" scene can open the garage door, turn on the lights and extend the patio awning.

Amazon Alexa
Somfy TaHoma® switch supports Amazon Alexa. If you have an Amazon Alexa voice assistant, it is possible to control scenes in your TaHoma® switch. Voice assistants from Amazon or devices with built-in support for Alexa (e.g. Sonos One) enable control with your voice. You can start a scene with your voice in the Somfy TaHoma® switch, ask Alexa to start the "Good morning" scene.
