Alux acquires MidtSun

In April, Alux A/S took over the Skive company MidtSun A/S, which unfortunately had to declare bankruptcy earlier in the year.

MidtSun's owner Ole Iversen got in touch with Alux's owner Bill Jensen, and the two quickly realized that there were good opportunities in working under the same roof with the same goal of strengthening project sales within solar shading.

Ole Iversen has now become sales manager in the project department at Alux in Silkeborg, and another MidtSun employee has joined the assembly department and will be responsible for the larger solar shading projects.

Over the past decade, MidtSun has emerged as a strong supplier of large solar shading projects in Denmark. And with Alux's 30 years of experience in supplying and installing solar shading for both business and private customers throughout Denmark and export to neighboring countries, both Ole Iversen and Bill Jensen see good opportunities for growth in solar projects.

For customers, the acquisition means that Alux now offers a significantly larger product range, covering everything from awnings to sun screens and blinds, roller grilles, venetian blinds, scissor grilles, fixed grilles, fire blinds and fire curtains - and this applies to both small and large orders. The quality, price and service will be the same as always.
