Sun 4000 is one of our absolute best and strongest awnings. The Sun 4000 awning is tested to wind class 2 and is available up to 7 meters wide and with a projection of 4 meters. The awning is made exactly according to your wishes in terms of color, operation and size.

Wind class 2 rated quality

Made from the strongest type of aluminum, the awning's closed cassette protects the fabric from wind, weather and dirt all year round. This gives the awning a long lifespan and makes it a great investment for your home and outdoor life. Expected lifespan is 20-25 years.

The awning is equipped with heavy-duty knee arms with PVC-coated double wires. The awning is classified as wind class 2. This means that the awning can handle wind speeds up to 10.6 m/sec.

Sun 4000 is produced at our own factory in Silkeborg, Denmark. The awning is made of natural anodized aluminum as standard, but can be painted in any RAL color at an additional cost.

 

Easy to integrate on any building

Sun 4000 Awning is a support tube awning, which means that there are no width requirements for installation and can therefore be easily installed on all buildings.

This makes Sun 4000 particularly suitable for mounting on eaves. In addition, we have a range of special rafter brackets that allow us to install Sun 4000 on all types of roof pitches.

  • The awnings are available with or without a valance. These can be straight or corrugated.

  • Optional awning fabric from catalog. Acrylic fabric 300 g/m2 - CLEANGARD special treatment for awnings. Dirt, rot and water resistant. UV protection level of UPF 25 - 39 corresponding to 96.0% - 97.4%.

  • The light color is warm white (2700 K).
    Can be used from -20° to +50°C.

    LED light strip comes standard with 400 cm cable and without switch. Remote control on/off can be purchased at an additional cost.

    For stepless power, the Somfy Io control system is required. This is operated by remote control or app control and comes complete with transformer and 400 cm cable.

  • Sun 4000 is mounted with removable brackets, which means that the awning can be attached wherever there is a sustainable surface. Can be mounted or two or more brackets depending on width and the location and nature of the ground.

    Inclination can be adjusted from 5 to 45 degrees, recommended is min. 14 degrees, for optimal water drainage.

  • - Functional testing of engine, steering and safety equipment.

    - Check suspension, fasteners and Fabric for damage.

    - Tightening of moving parts.

    - Clean guide rails and lubricate bearings and sliding brackets if necessary.
