In the fall of 2017, demolition work started on the old town hall in Vejen. The new town hall is now complete and houses around 184 employees.

The new town hall is a beautiful brick building with great attention to detail. Among other things, the deep, specially bricked window rebates with sloping sides and top rebates that ensure optimal light incidence.

There has also been a focus on the environment and well-being in the new building. Therefore, all windows facing south, east and west are fitted with active sunscreens from Alux A/S. The many sunscreens from Alux A/S are of the ZIP 105 type and are anodized in the same corten color as the windows.

All Alux solar screens are discreetly integrated behind the brick facade and are only visible when in operation. An electronic motor is used, which is standard at Alux, and a solar and wind automation system ensures automatic operation of the system.

Alux is a supplier of solar shading and security for many of today's large and significant buildings. Solar shading has become a necessary part of today's buildings, both because of requirements for the building's energy consumption and, not least, the need for a good indoor climate.

Sunscreens are the most widely used form of exterior active solar shading on the market.

With wind stability up to 32 m/s, Alux ZIP screens are also one of the most wind stable dynamic screens on the market.

They come with a cassette in a variety of sizes and shapes to fit into all types of buildings.
