The vertical solar shading acts as a floating slat from the glass facades of the building. The special attachment method was designed in collaboration with ZENI architects, who designed the building. Images are also courtesy of Zeni architects.

The floating slats are held in place with custom-made brackets at the top and bottom directly on the facade sections.

Only by being part of the design process from the very beginning of construction is it possible to create these unique solutions without incurring significant additional costs. In this case, the collaboration between the architect, facade supplier and solar shading supplier came together to create the innovative design and stunning result of the facade.

For this project, Alux louvre shutter type 300B was used, which is a 300 x 25 mm rectangular aluminum louvre. Like all other slat types, the slat type is available as both a fixed and rotatable solution with motor control.
