Alux A/S has supplied and installed advanced solar shading solutions for Danske Bank's new headquarters, a striking building located in the heart of Copenhagen. This project, which includes both Alux ZIP screens and facade blinds, combines effective sun protection with aesthetic design and sustainability.

Alux ZIP-Screens: Effective sun and wind protection

The 710 exterior Alux ZIP screens are designed to provide optimal sun protection while withstanding wind speeds up to 24.6 m/s. The screens are equipped with fiberglass-reinforced screen cloths and mounted in anodized aluminum frames for a stylish and modern look while maintaining the functionality and comfort of the building. The screens can be easily operated via the advanced Alux Sun Control system, which ensures automatic adjustment based on sun and wind conditions.

Facade blinds: Precision and Aesthetics

The 61 facade blinds that are part of the solar shading system are designed with lacquered aluminum slats and provide effective shading from the sun's rays. The blinds are operated via an integrated motor control system that ensures precise and easy adjustment. They are an ideal solution for creating a comfortable indoor climate in the building's large glass sections while maintaining the building's modern and stylish appearance.

Integration of the Alux Sun Control System

The Alux Sun Control system plays a key role in optimizing the functionality of the sun protection. The system integrates both sun and wind automation, ensuring that screens and blinds automatically adjust to the current conditions. This creates a comfortable and energy-efficient indoor climate while reducing the need for artificial heating and cooling.

Sustainability and Quality

The project was carried out with a focus on sustainability and high technical quality. Alux A/S prepared detailed overview and installation drawings and electrical diagrams to ensure a correct and efficient installation. In addition, comprehensive documentation for operation and maintenance has been prepared, ensuring long-term functionality.
